I love giving gift baskets at Christmas. It’s so easy to personalize a gift basket to the person who will be receiving the gift.
I have many women in my life who enjoy morning quiet times. If you’re one of them, you may want to show this post to your husband! I hand picked some items that would create the perfect morning and placed them all in a basket to be given on Christmas morning.
How to Create a Beautiful Gift Basket
Creating a beautiful gift basket is easy, once you discover a few handy tricks. Here’s how I make sure my gift baskets are a hit year after year.
Start with a theme. Before you begin to shop for gifts, think about why you’re giving the gift and to whom you’re giving it. What does that person like? Is this a funny gift? Something for the home? Something really personal? Once you have a theme, shop for items that all relate to each other somehow. That will bring cohesiveness to your gift.
Pick a fun basket. I use the term basket loosely. You could use a picnic basket for picnic items, a bathroom trash can for a gift full of bathroom decor, or even a baby bathtub full of baby bath items. Try to make the basket fit the gift.
Arrange the gifts in the basket. There’s a trick to making the basket an attractive display, and I made a little video to show you how to put together a great-looking gift basket.
Finish it off. You can finish your gift basket with a big bow or decorative cellophane. Or if the gift is more casual, you can just leave your basket as is. There’s really room for a lot of creativity!

When I think of the perfect morning, I think of a quiet house, coffee, time in the Bible, and being cozy and warm. When I put together this gift basket, that was the feeling I was going for.
